KP PA demands prompt response on wave of terror

PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly on Monday passed a unanimous resolution and condemned the terrorist activities across the country in which innocent people were killed.

The resolution was tabled by Parliamentary Leader of Awmai National Party Sardar Hussain Babak and said that in the last week across the country terrorist incident were occurred in which hundreds of innocent people were killed.

The resolution further said that due to the growing incident of terrorist activities in the country the government and intelligence agencies should take steps and ensure peace in the country.

The resolution demanded the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government and Federal government to chalk out collective efforts for the elimination of terrorists and terrorism in the country.

On the occasion Sardar Hussain Babak said that Pakistan and Afghanistan relation are worsen now a days ,adding that both the neighboring country were blaming on each other.

He further said that Pakistani Air Force strike the hideouts of terrorists in Afghanistan, adding that if the Afghan Air Forces were strike in Pakistan then what will be the situation, he asked.

He further lamented the both the countries elders should set on one table and search a solution of terrorism because terrorism is the problem of both the countries.

Nighat Aurakzai of Pakistan People’s Party said and condemned the incident of terrorist’s incident in the country, adding and demanding that there is a dire need of military courts implementation in the country.

She further added that there is no full implementation of National Action Plane in the country, adding that Afghan soil is using by India to carry out terrorist activities from Afghanistan in Pakistan.

The situation of the assembly was worse when Mahmood Jan of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf criticized its own government for utilizing fund to some of its ministers.

He further added that in Dir and Malakand there were Jammat-e-Islami , Qomi Watan Party is in Charsadda, while Peshawar was occupied by some ministers of PTI where they were receiving funds while other members were ignored in developmental projects.

Senior Minister Inayatullah Khan said that there is proxy war in Pakistan and Afghanistan, adding that Indian were using Afghan soil and sending terrorists to Pakistan and took the lives of innocent people.

He added that government of Pakistan should talk with Afghan counterpart and solve the problem of terrorism because both the countries were affecting from terrorism from the last so many decades.

Anisa Zaib of Qaumi Watan Party said and supports the resolution, adding that her party already gives statement about the Pak-Afghan relation.

She added that both the countries elders should set on one table and search the solution of terrorism.

Atif Khan of PTI said that there was no implantation of National Action Plane, adding that the federal government and provincial governments should set together and once again call APC.

Saleem Chitrali of PPP said that there is no foreign minister in the country, adding that if Zarbe-e-Azab operation can conduct in all three provinces then why not in Punjab.

Other members of the provincial assembly were also spoke. Speaker adjourned the session till 26 February, 2017.
