During the hearing, the anti-graft authorities handed him a questionnaire and inquired about his assets. An inquiry was initiated against him in April, and summons were issued to him twice before, but the PML-N leader had failed to appear before the bureau on both occasions.
Talking to the media later, he said that he had been given a questionnaire by the NAB. “I am related to construction sector and will provide details of the relevant projects to NAB,” said Muqam. “My business is not hidden from anyone,” he said, adding: “The one who forms alliance with Imran Khan is pure while the other is termed a thief. I hope that the NAB will also investigate into the misuse of KP government’s helicopter by PTI Chairman Imran Khan,” maintained the PML-N leader.
Muqam lost elections in all the four constituencies- two NA and two provincial – he contested on the PML-N ticket.
