We are at war: Ayaz Sadiq

LAHORE: National Assembly Speaker Ayaz Sadiq said that we should appreciate police instead of criticising them, adding that we should keep an eye over the anonymous people like a responsible citizen so that terrorism can be eliminated from Pakistan.

He said this while talking to the media and addressing a meeting on peace and security on Tuesday.

“We are in war like situation therefore we should walk out from our homes to fight terrorism and to get rid of this scourge”, he added.

He said that police is playing a role of front line against terrorism therefore in case of any uncertain incident; people should have to appreciate them instead of criticising so that they can be encouraged.

The speaker said that complete data of all houses have been collected to avoid any uncertain incident.Those who were on rent, their data should be submitted to police to avoid any terrorist activity.

He also offered Fateha for the martyrs of different blast incidents.
