Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) senior leader Syed Khurshid Shah has said that the PPP Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal (MMA) and other parties will field a joint candidate for the prime minister slot.

Talking to the media in Islamabad on Wednesday, Shah said that the opposition parties would also field joint candidates for the slots of National Assembly speaker and deputy speaker.

He was of the view that number game was not in favour of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) due to some difference with other parties.

Shah further stated that the politics of PTI had become dependent on the Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P).
