Sir: PTI has won more than expected national and provincial assembly seats from Karachi, because citizens of this metropolitan city have been betrayed too often by the two major political players prevalent in this region; the MQM and PPP. Anyone who has lived in Karachi and witnessed its fall from the glamorous, peaceful and clean city it once was, to a place rife with violence and disharmony, where street crime, kidnapping for ransom and murders have taken control, will surely lament the ineffective governments of these two political parties, and the underhanded way their politicians let the criminals get so much power here.
However PTI must be careful while trying to complete the required numbers they need to form a government in Sindh and the centre. In this regard they are making efforts to get the support of the MQM in Karachi, and the despicable Chaudhrys of Gujrat, in Punjab. PTI itself is responsible for their egoistic decision to fight on multiple constituencies in the National Assembly and the Provincial Assembly in order to set some sort of record, without taking into account the consequences of such an action. Imran Khan must also be careful about nominating any party member for a cabinet portfolio, including Chief Minister or Speaker etc who is currently involved in a NAB case, was on the Panama list or is a member of the Land Mafia.
