Anti-corruption files case against ACD over bribery in Gujranwala

GUJRANWALA: Gujranwala Arts Council Director (ACD) Dr Abdul Halim Khan was caught red handed on Wednesday while receiving a bribe of Rs 5000 from a citizen.

Reportedly, Allah Rakha filed an application with the anti-corruption department accusing Dr Haleem of demanding a bribe from him for booking arts council hall.

He further said that he had paid him Rs 5000 already, but he demanded Rs 5000 more. The anti-corruption team raided on his office while he was taking a bribe of Rs 5000 from the applicant, and lodged a case against him.
