Open market: The dollar remained firm against the rupee, dealers said. It started the day’s trading at Rs 120 for buying and closed at Rs 121 for buying after Re 1 upward correction in value and stood at Rs 121.20 for selling. The euro remained plus versus the rupee as it started the day’s trading at Rs 131 for buying, with Rs 2 change in value it closed at Rs 133 for buying and at Rs 133.20 for selling. The pound sterling remained firm against the rupee as it started the day’s trading at Rs 147 for buying, closed in upper bracket with Rs 3 change for buying and closed at Rs 150.20 for selling.
