With 77 seats, the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) has already announced to form the government and nominated Murad Ali Shah as the chief minister. PTI has secured 23 seats and is the second largest party in Sindh followed by Muttahida Quami Movement-Pakistan 16, Grand Democratic Alliance 11, Tehreek Labbaik Pakistan two and Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal one seat. Moreover, sources said that PTI was considering appointing Khurrum Sher Zaman the parliamentary leader of the party in Sindh. Meanwhile, Naqvi said that the party would consult with other opposition parties, including MQM-P and GDA and then finalise the name of the opposition leader in the Sindh Assembly. “The final decision will be made by the party,” he said.
