Defence minister, naval chief discuss professional matters

ISLAMABAD: Defense Minister retired Lt. General Naeem Khalid Lodhi has expressed satisfaction over operational preparations of Pakistan Navy and appreciated its steps for maritime security and stability.

He was talking to Naval Chief Admiral Zafar Mahmood Abbasi here on Monday.

They discussed professional matters, security situation in the Indian Ocean and operational preparedness of Pakistan Navy.

Earlier on arrival in the Naval Headquarters, a smartly turned out contingent of Pakistan Army presented guard of honor to the Defense Minster.
