Reportedly, a woman named Muqadas filed an application with the anti-corruption department accusing revenue officials to issue a bogus property deed that caused her a loss of Rs 1 million.

Infant dies as guards stop her mother from entering hospital

An infant died on Monday in the hands of her mother while security guards of the DHQ hospital did not allow her to enter emergency ward without a computerised entry slip. Reportedly, Uzma, a resident of Rahwali, gave birth to a child in a private clinic, but the clinic’s doctor recommended shifting the child to the DHQ hospital due to her precarious condition.

However, the security guards did not allow her to enter, and asked her to get a computerised entry slip before entry. The infant died while her heirs protested against the hospital administration. Consequently, the deputy commissioner (DC) Dr Shoaib Tariq Warriach rushed to the spot and set up an inquiry committee to probe into the matter.
