KMBL, Allied Solar ink deal to facilitate customers

In a bid to solar home system and lighting solutions, Khushhali Microfinance Bank (KMBL) Pakistan has inked an accord with Allied Solar in order to offer facility on easy installments to its customers.

President KMBL Ghalib Nishtar said, Bank will work together to address energy issues of masses living in far-flung areas that will also positively impact their livelihoods.”

Renewable solar energy as an alternative energy source is an important priority for country as well given current shortfall in energy supply, he maintained.

This strategic alliance will envisage promoting use of renewable energy and by facilitating Bank’s customers they can access to world class renewable energy products on easy financing services.

Both partners will also initiate a social awareness campaign to educate users about benefits of shifting to renewable energy sources, he added.

The products being offered will be from international brand d.light, the global leader in providing quality off grid solar products, to ensure sustainability. Initially, this service will be launched at Gilgit, Hunza¸ Ghizer, Lodhran and Sukkur markets that will provide economic opportunities to on grid power-stricken population of Pakistan.
