ISLAMABAD: Iranian Ambassador to Pakistan Mehdi Hunarmand Dost on Monday said that Imran Khan’s victory in 2018 General Elections will further strengthen ties between the two countries and that Iran is willing to fully cooperate with next government.
In an official letter written to the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman, the envoy congratulated Khan and his party over success in elections 2018.
He also praised the people of Pakistan for showing “willingness to apply their right to self-determination accomplish progress and development in the country”. Mehdi also said Iran is willing to cooperate with Pakistan in various ventures to bolster ties.
The dignitary also extended his good wishes to the PTI chief and hoped that the party will work in the best interests of the people of the country.
