ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Vice President Shah Mahmood Qureshi on Monday said that the country has put its trust in PTI chief Imran Khan by voting him to power.

Qureshi pointed out that all parties conference (APC) led by Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman was unsuccessful and most of the parties rejected the proposed boycott of the new assemblies.

Earlier this week, an APC led by Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal’s (MMA) Fazlur Rehman rejected the general elections 2018 results. However, they failed to reach a consensus on boycotting the parliament.

Moreover, Shah added that everyone around the world, even the rivals, have congratulated and praised Imran Khan for victory, after his political struggle of 22 years, in the elections 2018.

Shah further stated that the stock market was stable and that the rupee bounced back as a result of the positive impact following the elections 2018.

Furthermore, the US dollar devalued by Rs5.36 in the interbank market for the first in last four years today.
