JHANG: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Rana Sanaullah on Sunday met an independent member of the provincial assembly Maulana Muavia Azam, who was elected from PP-126 (Jhang 3), to convince him to join the party.
Another independent MPA Maulana Muhammad Ahmad Ludhianvi was also present during the meeting.
After the meeting, Sanaullah told the media that PML-N needs only 18 members to form the government in Punjab.
He stated that they will be able to secure the support of more members in a few days.
While criticizing Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader, Sanaullah further said that we do not have the money and private jets like Jahangir Tareen who are involved in horse trading.
On the other hand, elected independent MPA Maulana Muavia Azam mentioned that he will announce his decision soon after discussion with his team members.
However, PML-N leader Sanaullah is in talks with another independent MPA from Chiniot as well.
