CDA targets low-paid employees on bogus degrees

Author: Rafiq Siddiqui

ISLAMABAD: The Capital Development Authority has evolved a new strategy to save the skin of high officials from the episode of bogus degrees as it has started targeting the low paid employees. The CDA management has declared the certificates of primary, middle and matric of the class IV employees as bogus just to divert the focus towards low paid employees and to save the high-ups who have bogus degrees. The discriminatory behaviour of the CDA management is beyond justice as the naib qasids, sanitary workers do not have any degrees. In this connection, on the orders of Member Administration, Syed Yasir Pirzada, the CDA has registered the cases against five employees who submitted bogus certificates. The employees against whom action is taken are Qaiser Nasir working as Senior Assistant in the Designing Section, Francis Shahzada, who works as a cleaner in the Sanitary Directorate, Zuriyat Waseem is a Sub Assistant in the Water Supply Section, Akash Masih who is a guard in the Security Directorate and Zainul Abdeen is performing his duties as naib qasid in the Works Division. The administration of the CDA has commenced the process of bringing improvement in the civic body.
