Importance of being passionate towards your goals

Author: Nadia Ahmed Uqaili

Everyone has their own struggles, hardships and personal journey pertaining to self-growth. But no matter what life throws at you, how many people exit your life and however you’re feeling in certain moments, there is one thing that brightens up your day, that you’re willing to struggle for and what gives you purpose – that is your passion.

Everyone has a talent, a hobby or something they’re fascinated by and hence, are willing to do all the time. This is the one thing that saves them from the world. The one thing that isn’t necessarily accomplished effortlessly but instead, according to them, is worth the effort.

Your passion(s), the things that set your soul on fire and stimulate your mind like nothing else ever known to you, isn’t something you can go out looking for and expect to come back with it being found.

It is what your heart naturally wanders towards when there are a million worries on your mind. It is what you want to do and not what everyone around you keeps telling you that you have to do.

Life is always unexpected and it never comes easy and it should never come easy, because if it does, we wouldn’t learn any lessons and we wouldn’t ever grow.

However, to not follow your heart is something that can only be a conscious decision and a cruel one at that. So, always do follow your heart as it leads you to the life filled with your passion(s), the life which will, as always, be filled with ups and downs but yet the life that will always have a silver lining as at least in the midst of all the chaos, you’ll be doing what you love.

Everything in life comes with uncertainty but one thing that you should never doubt is your choice of choosing the path in life that is filled with your passion.

This is because when you’re doing something you feel great zest towards, all the hardships, endeavors and obstacles in the way don’t seem like reasons to give up or lose interest. Instead, they just seem like minor inconveniences that help build a skill set for major success in the future.
