The Los Angeles District Attorney said that they will not pursue case against the Gossip Girl star, Ed Westwick as there is no sufficient evidence available.

The 31 year old actor was has been accused of rape by two women, and sexual assault by a third, but prosecutors in Los Angeles said in new documents there was not enough evidence for them to pursue the allegations.

One of those women was actress Kristina Cohen who went public with her claims of sexual misconduct in a long Facebook post, accusing Westwick of forcing himself upon her after she took a nap in the guest room of his Los Angeles home back in 2014.

Two other actresses Aurelie Wynn and Rachel Eck  then came forward with other sexual abuse incidents reportedly involving the British actor, while another woman took matters into her own hands and filed a lawsuit against Westwick, claiming she was held captive for 2 days in 2014 as his sex slave.

LA Police detectives investigated the rape allegations and handed three of the cases over to the District Attorney to review in order to determine whether or not to pursue charges.

Now, prosecutors have refused to take the matters further as the possible witnesses were not capable of providing evidence to back up the victims’ statements, while in the third case, authorities were not able to reach the woman who had filed the complaint to continue their investigation.
