ISLAMABAD: Chairman Pakistan Tehreek i Insaf (PTI) and future Prime Minister Imran Khan has announced that he will take the Prime Minister oath in a public gathering.
Imran Khan’s aide Naeem ul Haque said in a tweet that Imran Khan has expressed the desire to take oath in a public place and not the President House. The PTI leader also asserted in his tweet that D-Chowk in Islamabad might be the right place to do so, considering the party’s historical association with D-chowk with regard to their 126 day long dharna staged there.
Other options like the parade ground in Islamabad are also on the table. Naeem ul Haque alaso announced yesterday that Imran Khan will take oath before 14th August.
