Will Amir Khan fulfill his promise of visiting Pakistan after Imran’s win?

Joining the fans on Twitter, Pakistani actor and singer Ali Zafar has requested the renowned Bollwyood actor Aamir Khan to fulfill his promise and visit Pakistan to celebrate Imran Khan’s victory.

In 2012 Amir Khan had publicly promised Imran Khan that he would visit Pakistan after his political victory. Now that PTI chairman Imran Khan is going to be the Prime Minister of Pakistan, “Dangal” actor’s fans in Pakistan have been tweeting and reminding him about the promise he made five years ago.

One fan asked Ali Zafar to ‘use his contacts in Bollywood’ and convey the message to Aamir Khan. To this, “Teefa in Trouble” actor tweeted an invite to Aamir to visit Pakistan.


In 2012, during a media event, Aamir Khan had openly told Imran Khan that he would visit Pakistan if Khan came into power. He also said at that time that he would bring along a lot Indians with him to celebrate the victory.

“When you win the election, I will definitely come [to Pakistan] to celebrate your victory. And I will bring lots of Indians with me,” Aamir said.

The “3 Idiots” actor also commended Imran Khan for his sincerity and purpose for bringing wellness and prosperity in Pakistan.
