LAHORE: A Pakistan Tehreek i Insaf (PTI) MPA elect Nadeem Bara reportedly assaulted two police officers Saturday night in the Hanjarwal area.
According to the Superintendent of Police Maaz Zafar, the security officers went on site after reports of aerial shooting, following the command of their Station House Office (SHO) Rana Afzal. When they got on site, they were assaulted by Nadeem Bara and his associates who tore their uniforms and afterwards left the site in a rush.
The injured policemen were shifted to Jinnah Hospital to get treatment for their wounds. A case has been registered against Nadeem Bara and 49 other suspects and they have been charged under the Terrorism Act.
