Talking to media persons in Islamabad on Friday, Babar Awan said that free, fair and transparent election had always remained the agenda of the PTI. He said that in 2013 general election, PTI had demanded recounting in some constituencies but was denied. However, PTI is ready for recounting of any constituency as demanded by the opposition.
Babar Awan said non-development expenditures in the public sector would be cut down and relief would be provided to masses. He said meritocracy would be promoted and all jobs would be given on merit.
The PTI leader assured that after forming government in centre and provinces, the PTI would ensure provision of basic life facilities to masses, including quality education, better health facilities, free and instant justice, besides resolving the problems faced by them. He said that despite the recent spate of terror attacks, people came out and voted for change, which was laudable.
Babar Awan said that PTI was yet to assume the government but confidence of the investors was restored and stock exchange witnessed a bullish trend.
