The Pakhtunkhwa Mili Awami Party (PkMAP) has conceded defeat in the general elections held on July 25.

Addressing a press conference in Quetta, PkMAP chief Mehmood Khan Achakzai said his party would accept the decision of the electorate, adding that he would co-operate with the new government in all its well-meaning efforts. “Our forefather struggled for democracy in the country,” he said, “We want to see it flourish.”
