Open market: The dollar remained down against the rupee, dealers said. It started the day’s trading at Rs 129.60 for buying and closed at Rs 127.30 for buying after Rs 2 downward correction in value and stood at Rs 127.30 for selling. The euro remained minus versus the rupee as it started the day’s trading at Rs 148.25 for buying, with Rs 2.25 change in value it closed at Rs 146 for buying and at Rs 146.20 for selling. The pound sterling remained dull against the rupee as it started the day’s trading at Rs 166 for buying, closed in lower bracket with Rs 2 change for buying and closed at Rs 166.20 for selling.
