Rare ‘blood moon’ expected tonight

Author: Web Desk

27th July is going to be one interesting night as a rare lunar eclipse is expected tonight. This will be the longest lunar eclipse in the century and it is expected that a red full moon will be very conspicuous. The eclipse will last for one hour, 42 minutes and 55 seconds, though the partial eclipse will remain for four hours. As the moon will rise tonight, the eclipse will begin.

The blood moon can be fully witnessed in the areas of Eastern Africa, Central Asia, and the Middle East. North Americans, however, will not be able to observe the eclipse.

What is the blood moon?

As the earth will pass between the sun and the moon, a shadow will be cast on the moon’s surface as the sun rays will be blocked by the Earth and hence we will witness a lunar eclipse. However, the unique blood color of the moon is because of the fact that some sun rays do manage to get across to the moon because the earth will act as a lens and deflect the reddish-orange light on the moon. The lunar eclipse, because of the color the moon will take on has been termed a blood moon.

Mars’s planetary motion will also be closest to the Earth tonight.

Here is something more exciting about this tonight. Astrology world has some freaking news.

This longest blood moon of this century will highly affect our zodiac signs.  According to astrologists, the blood moon is likely to have a huge impact on our lives.

How will it affect us?

According to astrologists, the blood moon will affect all sign but some will be affected more than others especially especially the Aquarius and Leo born. So, in general, we should prepare ourselves for some new changes in our lives and pay attention towards things we are neglecting and not block ourselves emotionally.

For some, however, it might be very difficult to control their emotional current. The only advise we can impart is treat your loved ones with the kindness and respect you know they deserve and be courageous. That is what really counts

So, sky gazers, keep your gazes fixed on the moon tonight. The partial eclipse will begin at 10:15 PST while a full eclipse will be witnessed at 12:30 PST.
