LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar has said that “war against corruption” has entered the final stage in the Supreme Court and victory will be achieved by “torch bearers of the truth”. Addressing party workers at his office on Wednesday, former Punjab governor Sarwar said that no power in the world could save corrupt elements from being rooted out and that the PTI was fighting to save the country from the scourge of corruption. “Era of oppression, cruelty and injustice will end soon and people will be given employment and peace in future which will solve the problems of the country,” he said. He added that corruption was the second biggest problem of the country after terrorism. Sarwar said that his party would keep protesting at every forum until complete eradication of corruption from the country. “The war against corruption has entered the final stage and the PTI will be successful in its eradication from the country under the leadership of its chairman Imran Khan,” he claimed.
