CIA arrests bootlegger, recover 156 wine bottles

Islamabad police Crime Investigation Agency (CIA) arrested a bootlegger and recovered 156 wine bottles during raid at an under-construction house in a slum area near Sultana Foundation on Thursday.

Spokesman of Islamabad police said that on a tip off regarding stock of drugs, Investigations Superintendent Police Zubair Ahmed Sheikh constituted a special team under the supervision of CIA Deputy Superintendent Police Muhammad Hussain Lasi to raid the house.

The team including Assistant Sub Inspector Hanif Kamal and others raided the house and arrested a bootlegger Mahtab besides recovering 156 wine bottles from him.

A case has been registered against the detainee at Shahzad Town police station and he is being investigated.
