LAYYAH: A polling officer died due to cardiac arrest on Wednesday while performing his duty in Layyah district of Punjab.
Reportedly, Tahir Raza, who was deployed in a polling station established in Government Middle School Shahnawaz, suffered a heart attack.
Consequently, he was rushed to a local hospital where doctors declared him dead.
The polling process resumed after suspension of one hour.
