The Coca-Cola Pakistan Wedding Show is the largest wedding expo to be ever held in Pakistan. It launched its second edition on Saturday at the Nishat Hotel in Karachi and will expand to four cities with over 70 exhibitors in each city. The expo will be held in Lahore on the 11th and 12th of August, followed by Sialkot, where the event will be held on 19th August. The city of Islamabad will hold the expo on the 1st and 2nd September and Faisalabad on 9th September.

Media personality Sophiya Anjam commenced the launch on Wednesday with an introductory note. Managing Director of Pakistan Wedding Show and Dreamweaver Productions Hassaan Khalid and Director General of Walled City Lahore Authority (LDA) Kamran Lashari addressed the media as the patrons of this initiative. Senior brand manager at Coca-Cola Pakistan, Haider Mujtabaand and the marketing director of Kashmir Oil Mian Shehzad Khalid also gave speeches at the event.

Ace couturier and television personality Hassan Sheheryar Yasin hosted a special segment titled “The Wedding Show with HSY” featuring the star cast of the upcoming movie “Load Wedding”, Fahad Mustafa and Mehwish Hayat. Coca-Cola Pakistan Wedding Show is also the official partner for ‘Load Wedding.’

HSY spoke about the premise of weddings in Pakistan with Mehwish and Fahad and how both, the movie and the wedding industry similarly offer an escape from routine struggles to celebrate life. The discussion was preceded with an entertaining rapid fire round similar to that on his show. Fahad Mustafa sang “Good Luck,” the lead song from ‘Load Wedding,’ as HSY and Mehwish Hayat danced together. The festive film is set to release on Eid-ul-Azha.

Supermodel Mehreen Syed, who was the official spokesperson for this event stated, “I am thrilled to be representing this iconic platform. Weddings are a massive affair in Pakistan and a wedding expo such as the Coca-Cola Pakistan Wedding Show, which meets every need of a bride or wedding party available under one roof, is the ultimate solution for every bride to be able to turn their dream wedding into a reality.”

“Pakistan Wedding Show brings the city of culture a chance to interact with representatives of the fashion and bridal industry. It gives me immense pleasure to introduce an association that plans to create strategic partnerships and take our industry forward,” LDA chairman Lashari said.
