Careem, Uber offer free and discounted rides to your polling station

Author: Web Desk

Careem is always one step ahead of others and they have proved it on several occasions. Few days ago, they surprised everyone by adding ‘Boat’ option when Lahore turned into Venice and now they have announced that there will be ‘Jamhuriyat Car’ type in their app, just for tomorrow.

This addition is definitely going to be significant as Jamhuriyat Car will be driven by captains who have volunteered their vehicles to transport voters to and from their polling station.

The spokesman of Careem stated “volunteer drivers will not be compensated for any ride, either by Careem or by Passengers.” “All volunteer drivers will to through our procedural background check.”

On the other hand, Uber is also not coming slow, as they have announced that they will be giving 50 percent off for two trips for up to Rs 100. The promo you will need to add is: AbDaaloVote.
