Presiding officers take oath

SHIKARPUR: The Shikarpur Additional District and Sessions Judge (ADSJ) Abdul Raheem Chandio on Monday administered the oath to the presiding officers, senior assistant presiding officers, assistant presiding officers and other polling staffers.

Reportedly, the officers and polling staffers have been appointed for performing their respective duties in the polling station established in the Shikarpur campus of Shah Abdul Latif University (SALU) to assist the voters of NA-199, constituency of Ghari Yasin-Lakhi Ghulam Shah. Meanwhile, 207 polling staffers took the oath in the presence of additional deputy commissioner of Shikarpur Javed Ahmed Shaikh. A large number of armed forces personnel have been deployed in Shikarpur to monitor law and order situation.
