Renowned gynecologist appointed new principal of Ameeruddin Medical College

Renowned gynecologist Professor Muhammad Tayyab has been appointed new Principal of Ameeruddin Medical College and the Punjab government has issued notification in this regard on Sunday.

He would also be the Principal of Lahore General Hospital, Nursing College, Allied Health Sciences School and Punjab Institute of Neuro Sciences. Professor Muhammad Tayyab remained the best graduate of Nishtar Medical College, Multan, College of Physicians & Surgeons, Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynecologists, a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons, a Member of the Royal College of Phyicians, MCPS and Best Winner of University Teacher award by the Higher Education Commission 2005. He is Current Councilor CPSP, former vice president SOGP and served as AP in LGH in 2008-9, also.

Talking in this regard, Muhammd Tayyab said that he believes in team work and would put all his efforts to get best possible results in each institution. He said that every staff member should work with full zeal and fervour.

He said more doctors are needed for general public students of Ameeruddin Medical College and soon it would be equipped with latest medical educational facilities.

He appealed to senior professors and doctors to especially cooperate so that best possible results could be attained. He also thanked the Punjab government for this confidence and assured his determination to come up to the mark.

Senior professors and doctors of LGH congratulated Tayyab on his appointment as principal and offered their all out cooperation in every department.
