At least 20 people were injured in a grenade attack on a Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) election office in the Kali Khudaye Rahim area of Dalbundin, Quetta on Sunday
Security forces reached the site and cordoned off the area.
The incident comes in the wake of a recent spate of deadly attacks on election candidates in various parts of the country.
Earlier in the day, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Ikramullah Khan Gandapur and his driver succumbed to injuries sustained in a suicide attack targeting the PK-99 candidate’s convoy in the outskirts of Dera Ismail Khan.
The PTI leader’s body was moved to District Hospital Dera for postmortem. His funeral prayers would be offered today (Monday) in Kolachi, DI Khan.
