Interviews held for posts of teachers in Dir

UPPER DIR: Interview has been taken of the successful candidates who passed national testing system (NTS) test for appointment as primary school teacher in Upper Dir. Various scrutiny and interview committees have been constituted in the district for taking interviews and checking of the candidates documents. Total of seven venues have been set up for taking interview from those candidates across the district.

Two each venues have been established in Sheringal and Wari while one each in venue in Dir, Brawal and Darora by the education department. The sub divisional education officer, Dir sub division, Syed Chiragh-ud-Din, head of one of the scrutiny committees, said that they had completed scrutiny of the documents of the successful candidates and also their interviews had been taken. He said that he was the head of the Dir center’s committee, adding that apart from him ASDEO, Dir circle, Muhammad Naeem, Shafiq ur Rahman and Mujahid Khan were also members of the committee. Similarly other committees had also been made in the district. Chiragh said that purpose behind establishing of various venues in the district was to give relief to candidates of the par away areas of the district.

He said that the committee had tried its best to check the documents of the candidates very carefully however candidates could do genuine appeal against the candidate’s documents if someone had a proper proof against someone cheating in documents. He said that after scrutiny of the documents and interviews a ‘tentative merit list’ would be displayed soon.
