CTD takes out six terrorists in Muzaffargarh

MUZAFFARGARH: The Multan Counter Terrorist Department carried out an operation in TP Link Canal area of Muzaffargarh in which six terrorists were killed.

Upon receiving credible information that suspected terrorist Yaseen, along with eight to nine terrorists was hiding in the area, the CTD Team raided the hideout at about 4:15 AM on Friday. The security forces challenged the terrorists to surrender.

However, the terrorists started firing at the raiding party. The raiding party took cover and retaliated in self defence. When the firing stopped, six terrorists were found dead while three to four terrorists fled under the cover of darkness. Identities of the other terrorist are currently being established.

The CTD recovered five hand grenades, four rifles, three pistols and a cache of ammunition.

An investigation is currently underway.
