The 67-year-old former Olympic star has been a very vocal advocate for the Trans community ever since her own transition. She spoke out in response to President Donald Trump‘s latest move to lift federal protections for transgender students.
The protections allowed transgendered students to use public school bathrooms that matched their chosen gender identity
Caitlyn sent a message to bullies and then one directly to Trump.
“I have a message for President Trump from one Republican to another. This is a disaster. And you can still fix it. You made a promise to protect the LGBTQ community. Call me,” she said.
The former Olympic star also added a message for the transgender kids to stay strong and believe this is a win for them. And soon there will be given rights in every state. She asked them to help her out by checking out the National Center for Transgender Equality and letting Washington hear them loud and clear.
