Miley-Liam wedding called off?

Reports of singer Miley Cyrus, and ‘The Hunger Games’ actor Liam Hemsworth calling off their wedding have been making rounds in the media. A source close to the pair has claimed that Liam was eager to settle down and become a dad but Miley isn’t too keen on having children just yet.

The insider said, “She didn’t really want to get married. It’s something that everyone else seemed to get but Liam. His family had been begging him to see the light for a long time, but he had faith in Miley. Now he feels like an idiot.”

Last year, the ‘Wrecking Ball’ singer said that getting married is not a priority.

“I don’t envision marriage. I’m 24. I hope I get to live a little bit more. I have too much living to do before I get married,” she had told The Sun.

Miley is said to be keeping a low profile at her parents’ Malibu home amid reports of a broken engagement, OK!‘s insider claimed.

After ending their engagement in 2013, Cyrus and Hemsworth rekindled their romance last year. And after writing ‘Malibu,’ she says they had to “refall for each other.”

Cyrus said the song was created during a cab ride to The Voice set, when she was a season 11 coach in late 2016.

“They’re going to talk about me if I come out of a restaurant with Liam. So why not put the power back in my relationship and say, ‘This is how I feel’?” Cyrus explained about why she penned the song.

After her breakup, the singer says she was “so immersed in work” to find herself again.

“I needed to change so much. And changing with someone else not changing like that is too hard. Suddenly you’re like, ‘I don’t recognise you anymore.’ We had to refall for each other,” she said.

As of now, Cyrus shares a Malibu property with Hemsworth – and their seven dogs, two pigs and two miniature horses. Hemsworth had bought the property in 2014 before Cyrus moved in.
