‘Freaky Ali’ starlet Amy Jackson managed to replace Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s in 2.0
According to sources, Amy was asked how she felt about it and did it make her feel nervous’ In response, Amy stated, “Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is an inspiration. I’ve watched ‘Robot’ several times. I have literally followed in Aishwarya’s footsteps. But our characters aren’t related.”
Amy informed the media that Aishwarya is her inspiration but their characters have no similarities. She was asked to discuss her character in 2.0 and Amy stated, “It’s opposite of who I am. I’ve had to change my demeanour and attitude for this part. I also have action scenes, which I love. Stunt directors were flown in from Germany and England for this film.”
Amy discussed about her co-star RajniKanth, whom she titled as the ‘legend’. “Rajinikanth is a dream to work with. He’s unaffected by fame and adulation. He was nervous when hundreds of locals turned up to see him on our set in a village. He doesn’t like the spotlight, which makes him a legend,” Amy stated.
‘2.0’ is her second film with Shankar. Amy admitted that the director has shaped her as an actor. “I shot I with him for three years. His vision has helped me grow,” she remarked.
The interview concluded on Amy Jackson’s list of favorite directors that she was looking forward to work with. “Sanjay LeelaBhansali’s work inspires me. I also likeImtiaz Ali He writes quirky roles for actors,” Jackson added.
