Haris Sohail’s Zimbabwe tour cut-short due to daughter’s illness

Author: Staff Report

KARACHI: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has allowed Haris Sohail to return home from ongoing Zimbabwe tour due to his daughter’s illness. The middle-order batsman was granted permission to return home after he filed a request to the Pakistan team management. Despite Sohail’s absence, the tour committee has decided against asking for a replacement for the left-handed batsman. Sohail featured in two matches of the recently concluded T20I triangular series in Harare – registering scores of 16 and zero against Zimbabwe and Australia respectively – before being dropped from the side.
