SHIKARPUR: The nomination papers of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) candidate Abid Ali Bhayo were approved by Larkana High Court on Wednesday.
According to reports, an independent candidate for NA-198 Ameer Ali Jatoi had filed objection against Bhayo, the former provincial minister and sitting district president to PPP, who is also contesting for NA-198 Shikarpur-Khanpur on PPP’s ticket, for having two computerised national identity cards (CNICs).
In this regard, the appellate tribunal had disqualified Mir Abid Bhayo for having two CNICs, after which he filed an appeal in apex court.
An apex court after arguments gave decision in favour of PPP candidate, party sources said on Wednesday, while it was also confirmed by Jatoi House Shikarpur.
