Photoshop has brightened and  glamoured our live for 28 years. Infact, it has  changed the world  we see the it today. It has become 28 years since the Photoshop emerged in digital photography . Its impact has embarked since the rise of digital photography and social media. The latest version of Photoshop ,however,  CC 2018.16 provides a plethora of latest  tools for web designers, photo manipulators, concept artists,and for graphic designers.

Changed the photo industry

Before the Photoshop was introduced, digital photo manipulation industry relied on expensive machinery and skillful production staff. Photoshop has lifted the heavy workload and limitations, and has brought many significant changes in the conventional photography.

Changed to access publishing

Until the time Photoshop wasn’t introduced, digital image cost mammoth amount and many companies used to get done it through outsourcing. However, now it has helped people to get similar type of graphic design and can easily publish on the laptops which were previously inaccessible and not affordable to them.

Changed perception of images and graphics

Looking at an extraordinary image the first reaction would probably be “wow!” however it makes us question its validity. “Must have been photoshopped!”  People’s perception of body image has also been molded by the use of Photoshop. Media uses the Photoshop to make graphics more beautiful and worth seeing.

Changed the film industry

Photoshop and the film industry have always gone hand in hand. The Co-creator, John Knolls was working at the Industrial Light and Magic (the company behind Star Wars) when he and his brother, Thomas created the software. When the first version was introduced, the film industry was the first to adopt the Photoshop. However, its use has increased these days.

Changed how we advertise

Previously, advertisers used to make images by hand. Photoshop has reduced the hassle by introducing various tools that have made advertising an easy job to produce commendable content for content marketing, email marketing, social media marketing and all other marketing campaigns.

Changed the trends of social media

With the rise of the social media, viral content; such as memes and as a general source of entertainment have been produced. There are hashtags and websites dedicated to photoshop fails and disasters. It has become an inescapable part of the pop culture.
