Radd-ul-Fassad will rid country of terrorism: Zardari

KARACHI: Former President Asif Ali Zardari has said that Operation Radd-ul-Fassad will be successful in eliminating the terrorism from the country.

He made these remarks during a meeting with Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly Syed Khurshid Shah, who called on him on Friday at Zardari House.

Matters pertaining to the political situation in the country, including the recent spate of terrorism, Operation Radd-ul-Fassad, establishment of military courts were discussed.

He stressed the need to implement the National Action Plan (NAP) in true spirit. “Had the government implemented the NAP, terror incidents would have been averted,” he said.

Speaking on the occasion, Khurshid Shah said that the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) had always raised its voice against terrorism in parliament and expressed his firm resolve to raise the issue on every platform. Both leaders also discussed the party’s reorganisation.
