NAB starts probe into IUB corruption

BAHAWALPUR: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) officials ‘accelerated’ interrogation against Islamia University Bahawalpur Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Qaisar Mushtaq and others for their alleged involvement in millions of rupees corruption. According to details, a special team of NAB Multan confiscated record pertaining to the corruption of Rs 12.6 million and started interrogation. NAB initiated the inquiry after getting approval from its head office on April 12. The university spokesman issued a press release in which IUB management was blamed for Rs 13 million corruption.
