PTI withdraws candidate in favour of GDA

LARKANA: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Tuesday announced to withdraw its candidate for the provincial assembly seat PS-12 Salma Perveen in favour of the Grand Democratic Alliance (GDA) candidate Akbar Shah Rashdi. Reportedly, the PTI leader Dr Arif Alvi issued a statement in this regard.

“Under seat adjustment, PTI has decided to withdraw its candidate Salma Perveen for PS-12 in favour of GDA candidate Akbar Shah Rashdi,” the statement read. Meanwhile, Rashdi launched a massive election campaign after acquiring support from PTI. Later, he visited several villages, and urged the voters to support him while vowing to resolve their issues.
