Two alleged Daesh militants killed in Karachi

KARACHI: The police have claimed to have killed two Daesh activists during a raid in the Manghopir area in the wee hours of Friday.

According to SSP West Nasir Aftab, when police conducted the raid, the two suspects opened fire at the personnel, leaving one policeman injured. In the retaliatory fire, both the suspects were killed while their accomplices managed to escape the site.

Weapons and laptops were found from the suspects’ possession.

The SSP said a hit list was found on the laptop, which included the names of police officers and other government officials.

The deceased were identified as Saifullah and Haneef.
