HYDERABAD: July 15, the youth of Hyderabad has started a fundraising camp named “Donate for Komal Sahito” in order to save the daughter of Sindh.
Komal Sahito is a student of the University of Sindh, Jamshoro, suffering from the disease of cancer, admitted in a special ward of Jinnah hospital Karachi, where she is under the consultancy of doctors and due to a severe and critical condition they are continuously transfusing blood to her.
When approached Komal’s mother, Zahida, she shared that hospital administration is providing blood free of cost, but have to purchase medicine from outside by paying a heavy amount. It’s very hard to bear such an expenditure when you live under the poverty line, the total cost according to the doctor is 25 lac and without having any financial resources it is hard to make up for the amount.
She appealed to the high authorities and stakeholders that “please own the daughter of this land, whereas, in developed countries state is supporting the public, we are eagerly in wait for the attention and support”.
The youngsters gathered like-minded souls and went shop to shop for donations. They have been raising fund for Komal Sahito for 2 days. The group has been to different places of Hyderabad generally, and Qasimabad particularly.
While standing in the scorching beams of the sun for donation, they say, if such talented assets of Sindh are saved then definitely Sindh will not face any difficulty.
“We should stand with this Marvi of Sindh in every thick and thin”. They expressed.
Requesting people, they said, ‘help this innocent daughter of our nation as much as you can so that nation could prosper’. Additionally, the youngsters said that the students can understand the pain of a deprived daughter of Sindh.
They added, ‘ We have been standing on our toes to save her education and life.
Furthermore, they said that if a daughter gets educated, that means a nation gets educated. “We request higher authorities and every person with means to save Komal’s education and life”.
They will continue the campaign into different palaces of Hyderabad till Wednesday.
