Shift PSL final to Dubai, demands Duckett

Author: Staff Report

DUBAI: England cricketer Ben Duckett has called for shifting the final of the Pakistan to Dubai in the wake of Lahore blast on Thursday. Duckett is a member of the Islamabad United squad being led by Pakistan Test captain Misbahul Haq. His demands came shortly after death of at least eight persons in a second bomb blast in Lahore’s Defence area in 10 days. Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) officials maintain that the final of the cricket league will take place in Lahore despite the terrorist attacks. PSL chairman Najam Sethi said owners of franchises have been given the task to persuade their foreign players to come to Pakistan. “Thoughts and prayers go to all injured in the Lahore attack! shocking news! time to get the PSL Final in Dubai,” Dewett said in a Twitter message.
