KPK: NA-44 has been granted permission to conduct the electoral activity. It has been sixteen years that polls were conducted at the National Assembly constituency 44, Tribal area V.
Last time it was in 2002 that any electoral activity took place in this area. It comprises of Bara subdivision and Chora part of Jamrud subdivision in Khyber District.
Owing to terrorism electoral activities were hindered in 2008.
In 2013, electoral activities stayed at the minimum due to the military operation.
However, owing to the fact that security conditions have improved, the constituency is ready to hold rallies and conduct campaigns.
