Reportedly, the Grand Democratic Alliance (GDA) candidate for provincial assembly seat PS-12 Saifullah Abro suffered a setback on Sunday when his political rival PPP’s Suhail Anwar Siyal convinced GDA’s member Javed Mithani successfully to abandon GDA and join PPP.
Resultantly, another influential of the area Javed Jagirani also announced to join PPP along with his supporters.
On the occasion, Siyal denounced his political rivals and said that those who were talking to give a tough time to PPP were ‘living in a dreamland’.
“PPP is a sea and many alliances were made against the party in the past, but eventually they all failed miserably,” he said.
Meanwhile, the GDA candidate for PS-11 Moazim Abbasi visited various villages of his constituency where villagers assured him their full support.
Moreover, hundreds of youths carried out a motorcycle-rally initiating from old bus stand while waving GDA flags, holding placards and portraits of GDA’s Abbasi to express their support for him.
After marching through various roads, the rally culminated at Naundero roundabout where Abbasi addressed the party’s workers and supporters.
