DHA Lahore blast was an accident: Report

LAHORE: The final report for the Lahore blast was received on Saturday by the police.

The forensic report states that the unpleasant incident that resulted in the loss of eight precious lives and left 30 people injured was an accident rather than a terrorist act.

The FIR for the incident was registered in DHA’s police station.

A committee was formed and tasked with the duty to investigate all aspects of the matter, led by Director Inspector General (DIG) Investigation.

A spokesman for the police stated that if any individuals were found negligent and responsible for this incident, they would be held accountable

Rana Sanaullah reiterated on Friday that the explosion did not contain any traces of chemicals or explosives and initial reports stated that the blast was not an act of terrorism.
