65 Hindu couples tie the knot in Hyderabad

HYDERABAD: Pakistan Hindu Council liberal forum organized a collective marriage ceremony of 65 couples, belonging to middle class Hindu families near Hatri bypass, the couples were from different parts of Sindh having family members and relatives together, every single couple was provided by a separate marriage spot.

Marriage dresses, 5 thousand rupees and other households were also been given by the organization.

Talking to Daily Times, Dr Sham Sunder, Minority Wing Leader PML-N, told that before organizing this event in Hyderabad our targeted area was Karachi only. “Now we have decided to go ahead to spread the way of happiness”, he added.

Kishanchand Parwani, social activist, said that due to the lack of resources and under the poverty line middle class families are unable to perform their marriage, keeping the situation in mind the event was organized to bring some happiness to their lives.

Khenal Das Kohastani PML-N leader, Lal Malhi PTI leader, Mukhi Bhagat Karamchand, Durga Devi and Ex-representative of Pakistan Hindu Council Soraj Kohastani were also participated in the ceremony.
